Forum: web Subject: "archived" pages disappearing from Wayback: reference at archive.is

(NOTE: I still love the Wayback Machine, but I have noticed a problem.)

I've noticed some pages disappearing from Wayback Machine.

EXAMPLE: various previewsworld.com webpages were archived, but then the archived pages disappeared from Wayback.

April catalog version of http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/916
was at https://web.archive.org/web/20160419062935/http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/916

but April catalog version of that webpage is no longer at Wayback.

archive of Wayback's page (of April catalog version) at
http://archive.is/sMY6H

Previews website has switched to May-catalog version, so April-catalog version no longer directly available.

Ah, but that wayback is of MARCH-catalog version.
The April-catalog version has disappeared from Wayback.

Similarly, other unique versions of other webpages have disappeared from Wayback.

EDIT: Not the end of the world, but it is annoying. Wayback is still awesome.

wayback team has informed me that some recent captures done through "Save this page" will take a week or so to be indexed due to some maintenance. thanks for your feedback.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that this page on Clinton Foia has disappeared

https://web.archive.org/web/20170301020124/http://www.wsj.com/article_email/hillary-clinton-vs-foia-1443136818-lMyQjAxMTE1NTI1NTkyMDU5Wj

I can see this link was saved.
I see in Google search it existed searching for Hillary foia

Historic examples of avoiding FOIA
would show Hillary's home email server was not for 'convenience'
but to shield her from foia requests.

I remember a video where she said laughing she would never keep a diary because it would be subject to foia
